15-Year-Old Struck By Car In Spring Valley, Seriously Injured A 15-year-old was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured along a Hudson Valley roadway. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 6:10 p.m., Monday, May 6, at 290 W. Route 59 in Spring Valley. According to Det. Matthew Galli of the Spring Valley Police, responding officers, found the teen being treated by Chaverim and Hatzoloh EMS members.  The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla for further treatment and is listed in stable but serious condition, Galli said. On Tuesday, May 9 just before 10 p.m., Lakewood Officer Christopher Dunphy was exiting a convenience store located on Route 70 when he heard what he described as a loud bang followed by yelling and screaming that someone was just struck by a car.  Officer Dunphy located a 2006 white Lexus with heavy front end damage at the intersection of Route 70 and Vermont Avenue, police said. Serious Crash Reported On Route 9 Jersey Shore Police, firefighters and EMS crews were responding to a serious crash with injuries on the Jersey Shore, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7  along Route 9 at Alexander Avenue in Howell Township, initial reports said. Lakewood Rescuers Free Construction Worker Who Fell 15 Feet Rescuers freed a worker who fell 15 feet at a Lakewood construction site Friday morning, authorities said. Rescuers who responded to the 8 a.m. call at the site off Attaya Road used a Stokes basket to secure and left the worker out, Lakewood Fire Chief Mike D'Elia Jr. said.
